Not likely to happen. Squeezebox Server has always operated with and required a library database to stream audio files. They would have to do a total 180 to make a change like that. It's been suggested before, but I don't think it's ever been seriously considered. -- JJZolx Jim

this setting. It's for connecting to Squeezebox Servers that aren't on the local network. The server/player discovery won't work across subnets, so you'd have to explicitly enter an IP address of the remote server. They really buried it in the settings, though. -- JJZolx Jim
