I have a bunch of 'em. Typically four are permanently synchronised and
the rest play independent streams.

I'm using one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Class-Memory-SD4-32GB/dp/B001C9P5TO/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8s=electronicsqid=1273846661sr=1-15
Works fine.

say the one you
used is HFS. I think this is probably more relevant than the number of
files. Same questions for the USB stick.

have Amazon Prime which gives me free 2 day shipping, but I don't know
whether that makes the delay before shipping any shorter.

Currently running 7.4.1 release on Acer Aspire easyStore H340 WHS

It's not that bad guys.
I think you have to look at all P1 bugs targeted for 7.5.0 since the
release will be for all platforms. Good news is it only makes the bug
list go from 26 to 32. That includes 1 unconfirmed bug.

Dunno about a battery Touch. Spotting market opportunities has never
been my strength. Isn't that a bit like an oversized iPod?

Yeah, but the solution above uses the original equipment power supply
rather than a custom one. Passive POE rather than Active POE.
