When I was getting constant rebuffering on my SB devices it took
unpluging/replugging modem then router over the course of a few days
for all to right itself. But since you are streaming uncompressed files
perhaps your bandwidth is not sufficient.

come up answerless. You
really are on your own with networking devices these days. and I and
NOT a networking expert or computer geek or anything other than an
audiophile. I am just using my Touch wirelessly as usual and things are
fine. So much for "improving" my reception.

Yes. Forget about converting FLAC to something else. FLAC is bit perfect
as it is. Work on your DAC interface or network or something else--see,
e.g., the Soundcheck 3.0 Touch Toolbox mods
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91322 instead. That will
keep you super busy!

SB needs are already open on my router. Do I need to open
them in a different way for a wired SB rather than a wireless one? My
D-Link router setup page has an option for virtual server, and for port
forwarding. Have no idea which I should use.

If the Dynaudio input is XLR only how do you connect the Touch?

To have the harmony not turn your Touch on/off you have to plug your
remote into your computer, go to the Logitech software and change your
settings on your Harmony. Then make sure you save them, and update the
settings via your computer.

After adding a Touch to my system about a month ago, my controller lost
its mind. Ended up the fix was updating the firmware via Settings -
Advanced - Update Software (on the controller's home menu). Not sure if
this is also the cause of your problem but try it.

So far (about a month) I have only had to do it once. But it'll be the
first thing I try next time I get the drop out or stuttering problem. I
can't tell you how long I spent on my router's website fixing stuff that

worst, but my new Touch is acting just like my old SB3 and
happily streaming. In fact, since my first SB3, I have never had a
problem with my network and setup, and that now includes 3 x SB3, a
Boom, a Controller, and now a Touch. Maybe the SBS likes working with
iTunes?

icks to upgrading my software from 7.3 to 7.6.1 on my Mac
OSX? Should I uninstall and then download, or just download on top of
the old 7.3?
thanks for any help!
