OK, some progress has been made:
The DAC DOES support DoP, as I can play one of my sample DSD64 dsf files
from my android phone, using HibyMusic. I can toggle on the fly,
between DoP, Native and PCM modes, barely hearing the very slightest
interruption to the stream as the signal switches.

Really great to have this available again! After over a year of

Even if optical 24/192 is in the spec it can be hit and miss .
Remeber that Touch's parts where never speced for this rate , this is
usually not a problem for coaxial as the bandwith is trivial .
But the cheap optical components used in toslink has a different spec ,

having come from a Duet to the Touch I can safely say that even without
using hi-res files the Touch is an excellent upgrade. having the option
of outputting 24/192 through coax and USB are real upsides of having EDO
on it. have a pretty sweet system and still use the Touch as my digital

The limitation is in the player 24/48 is what the SB3 can do even on its
