Well, if it is having the same issues while connected to MySB.com, then
SBS server is not likely the culprit.
Best I can suggest is to try the Touch wired, see if that solves the
issue. Then you know there is a WiFi issue.

So far it has only happened when playing 96/24 flacs.
Not sure if this is related.

rebuffering. Once tuned in the stream is essentially sent direct to
the player.
Unless SBS is having to transcode streams
tested again with computer and Touch connected to the same router with
excellent internet wired connection.
- radio stream fine with foobar
- I often have connection reset by local host or connection reset by
remote host on the Touch, and Touch stops playing.
Both running at the same time.

Yes, now try the Touch connected directly to MySB.com (no computer), see
if it streams correctly without buffering.
I simultaneously play 320k streams to 4 SB players including Touch
without issue. Sometimes Synced, sometimes 4 unique streams.
Connected to both SBS and MySB.com.
It even works

Since I run 7.6 I never had any rebuffering problems at all.
Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot!
I installed
Same problem here. It usually occurs after half an hour or so of
listening, and then the only solution is to hard reboot the Touch.
Otherwise, the rebuffering continues with pauses of typically 20+
seconds, interspersed with ~1 second bursts of music.
And yes, it does occur with mp3s as well -

Yep the touch does suffer random rebuffering. I've seen it happen a few
times, it will be playing an mp3 and then stop, display the rebuffering
text, then after 20 seconds or so, it will then say buffering failed
(or similar) and then immediately start playing again where it left
off.

Hi all,
I'm a happy owner of a Touch (and a Boom) since they came out and I have
never in the past had any of the rebuffering issues people are
reporting here from time to time, never!
Since a recent upgrade of the Touch firmware (not sure which revision
though, I'm now at 7.5.4-r9408, running
I probably wont be able to help, but I think people who can would
appreciate some more details about what file-types/sources you are
playing from.

Of course the problem does not kick into effect when playing back MP3 or
Ogg Vorbis because of the lower
The usual apply test with ethernet cable first before exluding wifi as a
problem source.
You can not exlude wifi without trying without it.

I already added an Wifi access point directly next to the Touch just for
testing, and then no rebuffering occurs.
But that's
