Ok. Got it. I already have the Touch and I love it. Just trying to
explore an alternative way of connecting without buying any more little
gadgets to establish a wireless hookup.
I saw that add for the cheap priced Touch. Great deal.

yes, I'm almost sure, but wait for confirmation from someone else to be
100%. However, I am 100% sure that you can do the following: Buy a
cheap WIFI router ($49 maybe). Hook it up at your cabin. Connect your
laptop to the router with ethernet (preferred method). Then you can put

Sorry if this has already been addressed in previous threads, but I am
new to the Squeezebox Touch.
I would like to know if I can simply connect the laptop (with the
Squeezebox server and music files) to the Touch directly with an
ethernet cable only. I do not want to use any wireless or internet
