I can only agree with the disappointing readability of the Touch screen.
I for one find the album art a gimmick and would far prefer to do away
with that for a larger font I can read from 4m plus away. And why do I
need to see three song titles at once ? My SB3 was perfectly adequate
showing one

The level meters were never correct anyway...

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...

You want the Touch II that I asked for a year ago - where the
display/touch screen is in your hand, but everything else is in a
seperate unit connected to your audio system. Recharging via that unit
or a standalone docking station...
or just use iPeng!

Well, as Ikabob suggested I put an update on, I thought I would.
Having had the device for over a month now, my views are largely
unchanged, in that the viewing angle is too limited and the screen size
is too small.
It's interesting to read in other forums users discussing what they use
to

Hi,
Overall, I'm gutted, after such a long wait, that Logitech have chosen
to release the unit with such a poor display functionand so
far..the touch-screen function's only benefit is being able to control
it up close, after having had to walk up to the unit
You can fix the viewing angle by attaching something to the rear bar of
the Touch. I put little stick-on rubber feet.
As for the size of the screen, I personally would not want a screen
that made the Touch any larger in physical size or more expensive. You
know prior to devices like the Touch,

Having received my Touch this week I think it is good but not great. I
think the size is wrong for what it is designed to be and maybe should
be closer to that of the Sony Dash. I agree it is hard to read from a
distance and will probably go back to my SB3 and put the Touch
somewhere else.

Hi,
Well I just got mine today, after the very LONG wait we've all had.
I can only say that the display itself is a big big disappointment one
two scores (I've only had the thing running for 20 minutes)
1. Size. The major visual difference of this unit is obviously, it's
display. Full
I think it is too bad that you feel that strongly about those couple
things. I , on the other hand, love the touch and the screen is
adequate for my use. The functionality is superior and the angle is not
a problem for me(the estblished angle keeps the center of rotation lower
and therefore
I also realy like my touch , but luckily I also have a controller.
The wieving angle and glare is a minus with the Touchs display even if
the actual quality is much better than controller and radio (it does
render colors correctly and has no pixelated artifacts), but no font
makes it as visble

I don't know why, but it's been true forever. I noticed the same thing
years ago with Radio David Byrne and
I recently bought the Touch, so far I am having a lot of fun and mainly
using it as internetradio.
A couple of questions:

is that?
2. When using the Touch
