As I recognized now the touch doesn't use WPA-NONE, instead it works as
unsecured wifi. Diagnostic says UNKNOWN as encryption mode. If I change
the psk (p
I attached the files, they have to be adopted to the used ip-addresses
and another WPA-PSK. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the hints, after a hard working week end I did the job.
Conditions are static ip for touch, controller, squeezebox server, ...
and encrytion WPA-NONE for the ad-hoc mode. So the controller can only
be used when the touch is running.
I adopted the interfaces and wpa_supplicant.con

Hi John,
this sounds interesting to me. SSH into touch and controller is no
problem for me and I have a few linux experience.
But how to get the parameters of the touch (ssid, channel, encryption,
key, ...)?
Can you please give a few hints regarding the files need to be

Hello Toby10,
thanks for the reply. Ok, let's forget the NAS. I'd like to be sure.
With no router, only the Touch and the Controller and no ethernet

Touch, as the Controller can do with the Duet Receiver ? The Touch
should work as

Hello,
sorry, new to the Squeezebox world. I'm considering to buy a Touch and
a Controller.

- May I use the Controller to pilot the Touch with no access point
involved in a Duet-like fashion ?
- Can I attach a NAS directly to the Touch to access the files in it ?
Thanks
