Right click with the mouse: Network
(Find belove Computer)
Select: Map network drive ...
Write in the field Folder:
\\192.168.xxx.yyy\media-mmcblk0p1
xxx and yyy must be from your own Touch IP address
The share is always "media-mmcblk0p1" for SD card and/or USB stick

I can log into the Touch with PuTTY from my PC, so it's definitely on
the network.
When you click Enable Sharing, is anything supposed to happen other
than the little box filling in?

I'm having the same problem. Windows 7. The computer is in workgroup
WORKGROUP. Disabled the Norton firewall. Windows can't find
\\SQUEEZEBOXTOUCH or \\192.168.1.13.

Yes thank you John. I was also able to use this information to connect
my computer wirelessly to the HDD I have attached to my Touch. I have
just transferred an album from my computer to the HDD wirelessly.

I have been trying to sort out this exact thing tonight and found your
answer above spot on! I didn't think about workgroups and don't want to
change mine because of other PCs networked, including my works server.
Of course now I have found it, I have mapped it and put a shortcut on
my desktop. E

The settings you've applied are correct. (Replicates my setup)
Try changing the default username and password.

I recently hooked up a usb drive to the my touch and every is working
fine, but I can't seem to get the sharing function to work. I've
turned on sharing and left the username and password as the defaults.
On my windows 7 desktop it can see the squeezeboxtouch under my
