I don't think this duplicates #1032823. Had the same problem while
upgrading from 14.04 to 15.04 (which is apparently a direct upgrade path
now, rather than the update manager doing 14.04 to 14.10 first).

Hi! Any progress with this issue? I really don't like the new behaviour
of the Location Indicator. Now if I want to navigate with my phone, I
need to enable Location Detection on the indicator, then go to the
System Settings app -> Battery -> and enable the GPS. This is not the
best solution. I
I have a bunch of comments :-) I have constant problems with rotation
on my phone and I really want them fixed. Exactly which changes need to
be made I'm not sure, and I don't know if this bug in particular is
valid or not. But it seems close enough that submitting a new bug
doesn't seem right.
OK, I've reproduced this. Adding my notes here:
* After alt+tab, focus is successfully put back to the app. It works with touch
apps.
* In the case of gedit, the focus *is* being put back to gedit, however, inside
the XMir container the focus gets messed up.
