I had the same wifi/bluetooth interference problem. My setup is as follows:
- Ubuntu 14.04 with custom-built vanilla kernel 4.3.0
- Lenovo B50 laptop having QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter (ath9k)

- Linksys WRT-54GL router running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) mini

Sometimes when I suspend my computer, when I get back on, the internet won't be
connected and I can't connect to it.
To fix this I have to put the command in terminal:
sudo service network-manager restart
I am currently running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

This looks like a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in
Ubuntu. Per the log above the libnss3 package is in a really bad state.
Unsure with how it got there the suggestion is to reinstall the package.

For me the phone hang if and when I turn the hotspot off. It doesn't
hang immediately, but in the minutes that follow. It's pretty reliable.
OTOH, if I switch to plane mode, and then back to normal mode, the
hotspot is turned off an my phone doesn't hang. That's also pretty
reliable.

I believe this was resolved in Debian and in Ubuntu as of yakkety and
newer. pps-tools is a build-dependency now and the kernel has has
CONFIG_PPS=m for a while.
