I 'assume' that 1.12.0 is the version running. This hasn't shown up in
any snippets since then, so far.

I'd guess that glib has to be installed since a lot depends on it. The

Excellent fix on that one Carlos. So far in two days since I updated no
problems at all. This bug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/d
conf/+bug/1654406 I'd be correct in saying is a dconf bug not a tracker
bug?

Hi,
Nothing in Ubuntu is currently using this, so I'd be happy to see it go.
Thanks

That workaround was introduced sometime before 0.6.6 I think, but it is not
clear to me whether it was introduced to fix any specific issue with running
out of inotify watches. If you think it is not necessary, then it might be
good to drop it.

Hi,
Just a note to let you know that I am using trackerd on the desktop
hosts instead of running a seperate server just for indexing.
Each hosts servers desktops to about 8 users simultaneously and I have
had no problems at all with trackerd.
Thank you very much for your work.
Chris.
On Tue
go back to desktop_server and kill trackerd, then go to
index_server, I can start trackerd ok.
As you can appreciate, I'm quite lost as to what's happening. There
are dbus'es running on different servers. But they do indeed seem to
be comunicating.
Sorry about the mess.
Thanks.
Chris.

Ok, I tried it and it works. Users are going to love this!
I think it would be nice to be able to pass a different
