A few things: 1. We don't have control over the entire process. Every company is dependant on dozens if not hundreds of others. The quality is limited to what is available. Doing more extensive design and development is not going to happen without significant investments and more demand.

Why can't you start such a crowdfunding campaign? It was your idea, after all. And I know that $30,000 sounds like a lot of money, but if 3,000 people all contributed $10, that would cover it. I think it could be done, if enough people knew that such a crowdfunding campaign existed.

I agree both with quantumgravity and onpon4. I like the Nouveau module, my computer has two Trisquel versions, one being the latest version (6.0, Toutatis) and the other being version 5.5 (Brigantia). I'm testing version 6.0, but my favorite so far is version 5.5. I like to use version 5.5
