If you wouldn't mind, could you give me some real easy instructions on making

It's not worded wonderfully, but it just means that it'll install Trisquel on

Yes, if you were running Tor on Windows, using an outdated version of
Firefox, with javascript enabled, then you were definitely at risk.
I still use Tor and was never at risk for the recent exploit, for numerous
reasons.
Use dd to write an iso the your flash drive. Here's an example:
sudo dd if=trisquel_6.0_amd64.iso of=/dev/sdd
'if' stands for input file, or the iso you wish to copy
"of" stands for output file, or where you wish to write the iso file to.
The device name of your flash drive may not be /dev/sdd

Yeah, I saw that page (https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/how-create-liveusb) and

Hey, I'm looking for a way to install Trisquel on my netbook.
I'm pretty new to GNU/Linux (I've used Ubuntu before, and all of my servers
use a version of Linux), and don't know how to do this.
My netbook doesn't have a CD drive, and I can't get VirtualBox to work on

Can anyone explain how to control xfce4-volumed in Trisquel-mini? I used

What are you talking about "proprietary software", Tor is free software.
As for the javascript, Tor Browser has ALWAYS shipped with javascript enabled
by default. Their opinion is that disabling it would:
1. Make you less anonymous on the net;
2. Break too many websites to make it usable.
So,
My Realtek RTL8188CE wireless card on my laptop won't work in Trisquel. I
checked on h-node.org and found out it is incompatible with free software. I

If you think that someone got to the servers, they might also get to the
servers of Trisquel repos.
However, I would advise that youu be more careful, use https and check sigs.
If you don't mind changing the system everytime you need to use Tor, Tails is
a good choice.

I'm sorry, but I fail to understand what exactly you did. Could you maybe

I tried with SGV file. But it doesn't work.
yes,ppa has to be of ubuntu precise.
I can confirm it will work, I installed mate on my trisquel 6 as default

I will also let everyone know you can do the same in Vimeo.
replace "www.vimeo.com/1234" with "http://player.vimeo.com/video/1234"; where
1234 is the number of the video you are watching. It will give you html5

While it may not be totally related to the subject, one movie that I like
very much and might have something that will interest you, is "V for
Vendetta". It's a wonderful movie.
Thanks, that one I didn't know about, maybe will take a look at it =)
I know I won't, Even if, there shouldn't be much to find ;)
And of course, full encryption is still needed. But I want to make Trisquel
cleaner and safer by totally cleaning all traces of what I have done before.
But I agree with you ;)
Nice! Thanks! Now I will take over your computer lulz!

Thanks for the reply =)
I was expecting it would give me some trouble =P
I don't understand however why the IP will change all the time. I never let
the battery die and I could keep it using always 2g only. Would it still

Thanks for the heads up!
I try to always make sure I am downloading Tor apps with https on, and I also
compare sigs (I am getting used to it :P).
It's very important to keep up with this kind of things.
One question, you usually download the Tor apps using Tor Browser?

Okay, so what happened when you tried to boot?
Like Ubuntu, Trisquel does not have, in its default configuration, a root
user. A user with administrative privileges (such as the user created during
the installation) is supposed to perform the administrative tasks using
'sudo'. The command you executed "created" the root user if you wish.
I am not sure but the installer may set the same options as those used when
booting the Live CD. If it is not the case, you can always boot the Live CD
again and 'chroot' in the installed system to modify GRUB's configuration. In
fact, there exists other ways to do it.
Well, I restarted, did the cat /proc/modules again in busybox, and dm_crypt
is not there. It is in my initrd.img file (zcat /boot/initrd.img | cpio -t)
It's rather complicated, but I managed find out how you do it. Here's an
outline of the steps:
Fix ownership of directories used by gdm.
Start a dbus session for gdm and remember it's address and PID.
Configure parameters of gdm, such as the font.
Kill the dbus session.
Restart gdm.
