Please tell me how to enter private browsing mode in GNU IceCat. I
already did a Google search to no avail.
Under the menu, "New Private Window".
also if you want privacy i would advise against Google searches
I wasn't able to reproduce this, can you provide more info in the bureport?
Hi, I'm new in this forum and I'm making an OS trisquel-based, but i don't
know how can I change the pictures in the installer. How can I do this?
PS sorry if my English is shit
your English is awesome!
That is really all there is to it. I am running Trisquel 7 Belenos with
belenos, belenos-security, belenos-backports, and belenos-updates
enabled, on an ASUS N43SL, with your very own Trisquel (customised GNOME
fallback) desktop environment. I installed monodevelop with sudo apt-get
install monodev
Firstly, you're fine on the English side of things. Worry not.
Secondly, don't split the efforts of the free software community. Help
Trisquel instead, if you want to do something to help out.
Thirdly, I know nothing about the Trisquel installer.

Welcome in the free world
Hello I have an eeebox pc EB1033, it has a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless
Network Adapter. It is recognized by trisquel and if I do iwconfig it shows
as wlan0. Doing ifconfig wlan0 it is shown as up, however when I try to scan
for networks using "# iwlist wlan0 s" it returns "No scan result
I just noticed it is exactly the same card I have in a notebook of mine with
trisquel 7 in it, and it works flawlessly.
Have you considered the possibility that there might actually just be no
networks in range?
Another update, I found out that putting the router right beside the machine
makes it recognize the network, but the signal is very weak and that is
suboptimal, is it possible to fix this or I have to get another wifi card?
there is my home network, for instance the notebook I'm using to write this
is in the same room, and there is another one, and cellphones, all get my
home network.
For starters, the official SELinux handbook is hosted by and maintained by
the NSA. Also, not the above post in response to onpon, regarding the
OpenSSH debacle being created by SELinux.
Systems that did not have it installed or enabled were fine.
It is very naive to think that "Malicious features simply do not thrive in
libre software."
More difficult, perhaps, impossible, not by the least. There are many
vulnerabilities in any given software. And yes, Libre, open source software
can be created with the explicit intention to creat
You'll probably be editing the ISO-- I recall that Ubiquity has a folder
somewhere in /usr/* with the slideshow data. By editing the slideshow data in
that directory, you will be editing the slideshow.
I wouldn't recommend you make a Trisquel-based OS except for local or
personal usage, how

That makes one more lie. Who keeps the count? Maybe five or six within a

SUSE/openSUSE are very popular in Europe and Asia, in part because those
countries do not trust software that is so tightly connected with the US
government in general, and NSA in particular.

The Microsoft settlement is one of the oldest sticks and exaggerations one

patents.

I never said that. Ever.

well.

Do you know this particular card works?
