Thanks for all the suggestions I've been looking at them in depth. I'll probably just get the wifi adapter for now since they're relatively cheap and then keep doing research on the laptops so that I can buy one once I feel more comfortable with my decision. Overall are you pretty satisfied

This of course needs feedback from a free/libre software activist, that made a report of his tests with such boards in places like h-node for example (because the criteria for acceptance there is indeed to use only free/libre software and free/libre system distributions).

I liked Bernie's message better than any but had a hard time believing he would be electable. In hindsight though, I guess I was wrong. Socialism in balance with capitalism, yeah, my most current thought also, and 75% seems a credible guess to me. And while I'm at it, to jorgesemul, I

Yep... the love of money is bad. I would also argue it is what makes people love capitalism way too much... It is effectively a thorn in the side of any decent human being. Socialism and Capitalism pretty much need to be balanced... if one is out of whack bad things happen. Although at the

What you write about Dvorak being technically superior to qwerty is true. It is true as well that Dvorak has not replaced qwerty because of inertia. Although I do not have any figure, I am pretty sure that the proportion of GNU/Linux users having a Dvorak layout is far greater than the

There's no evidence that using Dvorak actually improves typing speed or comfort. Most keyboards are QWERTY. You're supposed to set the keyboard layout based on what the printed characters on the keys actually say. So QWERTY is the default choice that makes the most sense. Even QWERTZ and

When advocating for the (relatively) obscure GNU/Linux over Windows, free software advocates often respond to the objection of "if it's so great, why isn't it already market-dominant?" by pointing to the Dvorak keyboard layout being superior to QWERTY as an example of how an objectively
