When ripping dvds with handbrake, one must choose audio settings. I have no
need for 5.1 channels but prefer stereo over mono. I suppose Dolby Pro Logic
II gives better audio quality than normal stereo, but I also assume that

Big problem with that particular machine is that its power button is located
dangerously close to the backspace button, making it *very* easy to hit by
accident.
For that reason, I would prefer to have its handling disabled,

But I have to buy parts for all of them. In some cases in order to make them
work, in other cases to make them work better.

thinking if working with ubuntu mate makes life easier for us.
I doubt you can find this WiFi adapter with the right versions in regular
shops. Can you take a look on the back of your adapter and see if it's not v4
or v5? Only v1, v2 and v3 are compatible with free software and are not being
produced for years now.
