The only thing that looks off to me (apart from the capital "S" in
"Sudo" which I assume is just a typo in the forum post) is the file name
"Trisquel-netinstall". It should be something like
"trisquel_8.0_amd64.iso". Where did

This hasn't come up in any meetings I was present for, so I'm not sure.

hi chaosmonk, perhaps you know what DE will be the default one in Trisquel 9
Mini? Wiki says it's lxqt, is this true? Will lxde be dropped?
> Do you know how I can get the iso for Trisquel 9?
There is none yet. I think that we are close to having a netinstall

beginner friendly

Personally, I replace MATE's default window manager (Marco) *with* i3.

Wow, are you just now upgrading?

Have you done that?
I'm using i3wm and my external keyboard's multimedia

I tried it and when doing sudo apt update then sudo apt upgrade something
broke hahaha. I don't know if I 'technically' updated to Trisquel 9 but I
ended up reinstalling Trisquel 8 from scratch just in case.
I read a post by Chaosmonk saying that he did it with the Trisquel

libreboot is a distribution of coreboot and a payload (GRUB in most mainboard

Whether you need to do anything like that depends on your coreboot payload

Hi all,
Does the sentence [1]
If you use libreboot make sure to do this. If you do not use libreboot, skip
this step.
cd /boot/grub
sudo ln -s grub.cfg libreboot_grub.cfg
also mean that if you run Coreboot, you can skip this step?
Thanks in advance!
