Well, i gave it a try, and I was able to get further by creating and
registering a new module activator that extended BindingsActivator and
overriding the getBindingQName method.

I'm updating all Tuscany extensions that are non-spec'd to use a
Tuscany namespace, and with this, some bindings or component types
will be registered with the SCA 1.0 namespace (e.g binding-ejb) but
others will use the Tuscany extension namespace (e.g binding-dwr). In

You're right on what I meant "used to be". IMO, these are in the grey areas
as we're not very sure if we should extend the scoping support for other

information back into the model. In this specific case, omitting
explicit callback binding information from the model means that the
implementation runtime can make a choice. So there is no inconsistency

In Axis2ReferenceBindingProvider constructor there is some code that looks
for the callback associated with the reference, if there is one, to get the
binding. From this it ultimately determines the from address for outgoing
messages.
