I hoped for an interesting mystery, but mostly it was just boring and
underacted. And from a technical standpoint, the shot composition was worse
than a freshman film school project.

Even tho feature work has been rising modestly every year since 2009, while
TV work rebounded in '13 after three straight years of slight drops... both
are still noticeably under peaks of 1996 for feature and 2007 for telly.
FX chief Landgraf said at TCA, “We [him, exec Graham Yost and Raylan
Givens, aka Tim Olyphant] talked about it a year ago and they felt that the
arc of the show and what they had to say would be best served by six years,
six seasons… and so I accepted their decision.
Samberg / Taccone / Schaffer may have planned this long before *Brooklyn
Nine-Nine* won a Golden Globe... through a new venture, they will supervise
development of comedy projects starting in online venues and eventually
planned for any of the TCF-owned channels...
The artist variously known as Little Steven and Silvio Dante had claimed as
much a month or so to *Rolling Stone*.

It was derivative of so many outbreak genre films and TV shows that to
try to narrow it down to one is tough.
