I haven't seen an official reason posted, but the prevailing logic on Twitter is that the new episode was preempted in deference to the World Series. (Which means, of course, that a new episode won't actually air until the 15th.) My wife was mainly upset because tonight's originally scheduled

I walked past a house locally that looked like it was having quite an amazing clearout of old technology. There were at least 8 different cathode ray tube TVs being thrown out. Now although this was quite a large house, I found it quite an amazing haul.
