Not sure WHY they are doing that split-screen effect but it’s only done during the national spots in the first commercial break and disappears when your local station runs their breaks in the second part of the avail. And yes, it happens whether it’s on cable, satellite or over-the-air.

Looks like Craig Ferguson is putting out a six episode series of his standup show. Kind of strange when he spent a good chunk of the show ranting against comedians who go on the road with their standup and then put it on television.

I haven’t seen the train wreck yet but just wanted to point out that, after leaving The Daily Show, Rory Albanese was executive producer and frequent guest on Larry Wilmore’s Nightly Show and was usually pretty funny on that. Looking forward to seeing how bad he tanked on Colbert…I guess.
