I'm working on the front end localization of my english page to Japanese.
I installed the japanese language pack. and confiugred it to support
japanese language. Added Japanese as another website language created an

Hi Guys,
I downloaded and installed a captcha extension sr_freecap to use captcha
in my form. i have already inserted the code in the html template. Now the
manual says to do the below :
Class inclusion and instantiation
The tx_srfreecap_pi2 class may be used in any Typo3 frond end plugin
ok except
there is one thing missing. there is no captcha image and textbox
there!! i went through the manual and there is nothing there about
that. can anyone tell me why the captcha image and the input box is not
showing up??

the caching in typo3 takes into account current logged on user FE groups
membership using [Login usergroups]
It is kinda good feature but is not realy needed in my cases.
Is there any way to disable that feature and to make the cache to cache
pages regardless of who is logged on?

Now i have the problem that all comments are visible on every language. This
means that on the german page the english comments are shown.

i have a group of user defined checkbox that i added to fe_users system. i
also have declared it as required field in the typo3 setup. i want user to
pick at least one checkbox when he submits the fe-user form. everything
works fine except that this field is not required when submitting a
have to do the search form for my study at the university
and I don't know how I can fix this problem.

Form is displayed by core (by t3lib_TCEforms), so it takes care about all WHERE
and proper replacements of ### markers there. It is universal for any record in
the system.
If there is no GRSP in the current root line, then sql error will happen.

(class.t3lib_db.php) to query mm table. MM tables are
different, they are not defined in TCA and pi_exec_query will not work for them.
Btw, you use double quotes while you should use single. Check TYPO3 coding
guidelines.

I do not think this is a right way to write docs. Doc should be written by
author and reviewed by editor... Imagine TYPO3 Core API written by many people,

mnoGoSearch is fine on shared hosting if it is installed there by admins. There
is also TYPO3 extension for it. Sphinx also requires installation but it has
less features and possibilities than mnoGoSe
gets page ID and language ID rom TYPO3 and
returns URL. It does not know anything else: just converts "index.php?id=1&L=1"
to something else. No any other logic behind!
RealURL does not define what language is used by domain or web site. This is
completely controlled
one can get Google account in

There is no cache for tt_news item. You can only clear cache for page where
news items are displayed.
