Hi Peter,
Use the "Don't Know" option, that is for those methods you are not familiar
with. That is just as important response as the other choices.

I am interested in knowing what the best non-English TYPO3 related blogs

I have never seen this not to work. Read the instructions again and do
exactly what it says. It should work.

Andi,
This is an awesome outline you have made here. As a co-leader of the Doc
Team, I am for it. So, for your questions:
FIRST IMPORTANT QUESTION:
Who is the responsible person / democratic group to make the decision?

One question. Is there a way to have pages not A4. A4 really messes up US
printers. I have seen cases where printers are "down" for days. Is there a
way to make a choice between A4 and the US letter size in these cases.

Susanne,
Thank you for setting this test up. I was able to add something, so it looks
like multiple authors can work a document. I did not see a way to see where
edits had been made (like the show markup feature) I would like to be able
to see at a glance what changes have been made, who has made

OK, this is a good discussion and we need to come up with a good way to
work. Personally, I do not like the wiki to actually work on docs, but only
to manage the docs. With the wiki, when things are edited, etc., afterwards
someone still has to put them into OOffice, format them, etc. This seems

Andi,
There are two kinds of editors. One is more properly a copy editor and that
is the one who doesn't have to know much about what they are reviewing.
These are the editors we need for ensuring that grammar is good, finding
typos, and making sure things make sense. The other type is the editor
Hello Peter,
I think we talked a long time ago when you were still Doc Lead :-) I really
like your documents comments from the link you sent and I would like to use
them on the doc wiki. Thank you.

Dmitry,
At TCON07 I basically volunteered to be Doc Team lead and what has resulted
so far is some internal talking with mainly Daniel Brussler. I am thinking
that Daniel is the de facto Doc Team leader now and that is fine, he does a
very good job with the wiki. In any case, I plan on trying to g
I cross posted this because this topic needs to be transitioned to the Doc

Ries,
You break the cycle by implementing an editing step in the process. This is
good for all documentation no matter if a technical writer wrote it or a
core developer or anyone else. The editor ta
I am running Powermail and it appears that multiple recipients separated by

Create a blank text file, name it ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL, place in the
typo3conf folder, and make sure you remove the .txt extension from the file
name. The key for you is probably the .txt extension on the file name.

This is interesting. I just booked my room (for 2 people, so maybe this is
why prices are higher?):
19 Sept - no punkt.de rate, there should be as people will arrive the day
before - E 155, no breakfast
20 Sept - punkt.de fee includes breakfast - E 124
21-21 Sept - punkt.de fee includes breakfast -
I would donate something to help fund a scholarship, I am sure others would,
too. For someone from Ecuador, this would be a very expensive trip all
