Worth noting a common block will not persist between uniobjects connections
unless you use connection pooling.

Hello,
This is a unidata (7.1) reporting question, and I'm asking because
although I can't find the answer in the documentation, I do think I've
seen it once on another developer's screen.
Suppose I list a file with a command like LIST ACCOUNTS. I'd get a list
of the IDs down the left hand side
Try using LIST-LABEL
Trevor.

Subject: [U2] Multiple columns from a LIST statement?
Hello,
This is a unidata (7.1) reporting
You didn't say if you are on windows or unix but I addressed this issue using
the split and paste commands from unix and sending the output to _HOLD_. The
report was just a list of id numbers. Below is a sample. You may have to
wrestle with lists that are more than 1 segment. I hope this helps.
Oh, okay - that's a useful command. Not come across it before.
So I can get it to give this output:
018682056005014039012250048003406038
0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00
Edward,
Take a look at the LIST-LABEL command.
I don't have an Unidata system
handy so I did this in jBASE.
jsh ~ --LIST-LABEL MD

I've only been to one U2 University (last year in San Francisco), and I was
wondering if anyone who has gone several years has any feel for how
different the conferences are from year to year.
It is hard to tell from the course titles. I can't find any detail on IBM's
website.
Ah, found the U2 University session abstracts:

This is only the second year for U2U. Before that they were part of the
general IBM yearly conferences. They decided that U2 had enough of a
specialized and enthusiastic following that they could have conferences in
multiple areas of the world.

I've been looking at our production event logs and notice numerous (not a whole
lot)
event logs like:
1) Wait for server threads failed.. Win32 error: 6. The handle is invalid..
2) Wait for server threads failed.. Win32 error: 6. The handle is invalid..
3) Faulting application udt.exe,
Symeon is spot-on.
If you use Connection Pooling your COMMON block belongs to whichever CP
member (server process) which you happened to get when you used THAT pool.
This can be very useful, it can also catch you out if you are not aware of
it. Also remember that CP members persist after you

the handle is invalid means that the process concerned tried to use a TCP
data stream after it had been destroyed (typically using x to terminate a
TELNET client).
_
xon/xoff failed looks like it is probably the same as above.
