Does anyone know a way to call UniObject directly from Linux?
Not "UniObject for Java", but directly from a C++ program or similar.
I have looking for it but I haven't found anything
Any suggestions?

Yes, It's odd, and annoying.
You can't even do an UVbackup bigger than 2Gb to a single file.
The only workaround I've found is using pipes and gzip. (Maybe it could be
useful for you...)

I guess that it is a UV-version matter.
If you have a Linux box with Universe version prior to 10.2.x then you can't
open any file over 2 Gb (sequential or not sequential).
