Data typing in MV Basic

Joe Have you sized your UV file correctly? The 15-20 seconds suggests many things are not as they should be. Can you do an ANALYZE.FILE on this file and post the details. If it is a dynamic hashed file include the option STATS please. We may be able to help you after all. Cheers Trevor

this machine correctly as 15-20 second search times seems excessive to me. However, it is up to you whether or not you provide the ANALYZE.FILE results or not but it may help other list members if we were to pursue it.
