Every tower has UPS and every radio 2 surges and emt double shield cable. Radio was connected to mid span DL and MT ... Along with 8 other radios Not sure why it factory reset... But there was a 9 hour power outage and surges during restoration is not uncommon here. On Thursday, December 25, 2

Failing UPS's is why we came up with driving the devices directly off deep cycle batteries. Yes the devices charging the batteries fail but (usually) not in a fashion to damage devices downstream from them. And batteries usually give off clues as to if they are going to fail before they do.
