I'm building theme packages for UbuntuStudio project, and dholbach kindly
provided us the initial source tree, from which I'm pbuilding the .deb packages.
However, I'm having some trouble which I can't seem to overcome. The problem
involves index.theme.in file, which either ends up as

i'm not sure (I don't use KDE), but an easy way to check is to create
one and then open a terminal and run:
ls -l ~/Desktop
A symlink will show up as a oddly-coloured filename with a - symbol
showing the original file it points to.
You create a symlink in the terminal with:
ln -s original

What is the situation with sata drives and installs of (K)Ubuntu? is
there any kind of complication or difference from the way ata hard
drives install? any need for initial install of anything?

kernel customizado para reconhecer os discos... no próprio site da Dell faz
referencia a esta versão customizada (que na verdade é uma imagem .iso de
7MB do net-installer do debian).

Насколько я помню при update нельзя перескочить через версию. По крайней
мере:
sudo update-manager -c мне предложил делать это поэтапно, через 6.04.
