Same here. Last night after upgrading I rebooted as I saw it was the
kernel that was updated and the system wouldn't boot. I disconected all
my USB devices and pulled my wireless network card and tried again. No
go. This morning I started up with the 2.6.13 kernel with no problem.

Although most syncs are done from Debian unstable it's not the only
source for syncs. It's possible to sync from Debian experimental if
necessary.
As this is a new upstream version you need to get UVF

with a soundcard (WAV, Ogg, and MP3). It has a built in timer for
