Tout se déroule normalement sauf l'importation des lettres accentuées
qui n'apparaissent pas dans la langue anglaise. (é,è, î, ç, ê, ô, â,)
Ces lettres sont remplacées par 2 petits carrés juxtaposés.

Is it possible that you pressed button for a bit longer?
On my HP nw8240 laptop, I need to do a short press in order to get logout
dialog, otherwise the laptop just powers down. I think this is done in HW (or
at least in kernel) therefore it cannot be controlled by HAL and Guidance power
I am also experiencing this exact problem. So I followed Kirk's
instructions to upgrade to 1.2.11, but just like Kirk, it does not fix
the problem for me. The problem persists with cupsys 1.2.11.
