@mdz -- well the thought is that it is redundant as we do have the files
in /boot anyhow, the incomplete stuff seems to be sorted by a quick scan
of my disk. The reporter seems happy in that case to work with those
files. There is a cost of having them built in, as they are loaded into
memory

Well angel,
I think the 3.0 format change is better done in debian rather than
ubuntu
so can you revert that change and use a generic quilt patch system
maybe?
what do you think?

LGPL-2.1+, not LGPL-2+. It would also be nice if there was a bug

I am having the exact same problem. It appears that Bluez does not see
my adapter but it does show up under dmesg and lsusb. 10.04 worked
perfect, I would love to see this get fixed as I as well use the same
keyboard and mouse and have relied on it forever. Going back to the old
style
i rebooted and tested again- my network manager shows both auto eth0 and bsnl
3g as available but connects only to bsnl 3g now and does not connect to auto
eth0. have i fired some conf files in the process?

Hello All,
I had the same issue which I have resolved by updating atpdaemon with the
synaptic package manager.
It works now.
