The GRUB screen appears every time. I've already tried to replace the
line root=UUID= by root=/dev/sda but it hasn't solved the problem.

I couldn't connect to my Fonera+ with WPA2 protection but it didn't work only
with this AP. It's now solved for me with the latest 2.6.31 kernel which I
tried with Karmic daily built Live CD and by installing it in Jaunty.

my home wifi which is protected with WPA2 personal. I can't connect and

I have the same problem. I succeed to see the gwget extension in the
Epiphany's extension menu by moving the files but the extension doesn't

Hello,
When I tried to enable 3D effect I got a message saying The Composite
extension is not available. So I modified my xorg.conf to enable the
composite extension and I tried to enable 3D effects again. But I had a
message saying Desktop effects could not be be enabled.
Sorry to be so long...
I didn't understand exactly what you told me to do but I suspend to ram
my computer and I turn it on again and I launched the alsa-info.sh
script.

Asus F3JC - no sound after suspend to ram

I have Ubuntu 7.04 Festy Fawn installed on my Asus F3JC-AP036H laptop
computer.
When I turn my computer into suspend to ram mode using the top right
corner red button, the computer fastly do this with no problem.
But when I turn back the computer from suspend to ram mode
