I have been having this problem on my netbook that runs 32 bit, but I
also have a laptop with an i3, and it does not exihit this behavior.
I need this working on my Netbook, or I need to take it back to Windows
to make it work. I will not run Unity, I only run Gnome Shell. A

And again we end users are left asking why a product that is not ready
for prime time, and has fewer features is replacing existing
functionality? Especially this time when the old functionality was
simply taken away abruptly.

I am getting this bug in Maverick Meekrat. Does not seem to effect

OK, after having this issue with Alpha-6, Beta, and RC, I downloaded the
final version last night, and tried a new install.
SUCCESS!!!
Luca said he was having issues with final version, but it appears that

Karmic Koala Beta does not install on Sony Vaio
I am trying to deal with this same issue, but I am not able to get the
crash report. I get the gnome panel, and all is fine. But when the
calendar dropdown is activated, it crashes, then restarts. But the
crash does not occur until you click on the calendar. So, I tried to do
the back trace
What ever happened with this bug? I seem to have something not 100% the
same, but not exactly the same. My panel does not auto restart
repeatedly, but any time I click on the clock applet to drop down the
calendar... boom, panel dies, then restarts. Any idea how to get it to
stop doing that...
the
admin actually deals with the much more difficult job of configuring the
software.
I will repeat again... Look at GOsa, it is exactly what you guys have been
asking for.

Screen refresh problems with

This problem DOES occur with 173!
Also should have mentioned, the only computer which exhibits this
behavior is the one with the nVidia card. I also run a Dell D620 with
the Intel chipset with no display issues (network yes, but that is a
different bug, but no display issues). Also, I
I am not on that computer, but came here looking for solace that I am
not crazy... that I did not jack my system. I am running a 7600GS and I
am seeing the following problems:
- Window title bars not fully skinning, then when I move the mouse
over the controls (Min, Max, Close) it instantly
Also with Intrepid with this mornings update. When launched from the
file manager, the video ran fine, the error only occured when launched
from Firefox.

clean up the mess. But Ubuntu is trying to reach out to newbs. And
they will not understand. It also leaves no repos installed which can
cause a second round of confusion to the less initiated.

The problem is that this version breaks one of Rails's servers. Mongrel
does not run correctly unless ruby is at 1.8.6.
Mongrel keeps trying to patch Ruby because of the version problem. On
my Ubuntu system, that patch is not working correctly, and I am not able
to serve my Rails application.

patch to Ruby. For some reason, this patch is not always allowing Ruby
to support Mongrel Cluster, which is required to deploy a fail-safe
