I have still experienced this buggy using gnome-terminal and its menubar
after upgrading to Ubuntu Precise.
I have fixed it now by installing any missing recommends, using sudo
apt-get install --fix-policy --install-recommends.
One or multiple of the packages this installed appears to have fixed
Victor, what are you experiencing? This bug is so messed up already and
there are quite some dupes which I and others do not consider to be
dupes really.

The boinc package in Debian introduces two new packages to pull in libraries
for GPU computation.
The first one would need to be satisfied by nvidia-graphics-drivers /
nvidia-current.
To avoid any delta in this regard, a Provides: would be required here.

1. not all versions of Debian and Ubuntu (nor Arch) are fixed in general.
2. it gets only set initially. This will not fix it when upgrading and/or when
deploying the same config across multiple hosts. I will therefore remove the
color file from there
Re-opening this bug: when there is no ~/.byobu directory, but only
~/.local/share/byobu, byobu will create a new directory ~/.byobu with
default files in it.
I would have assumed that it would create a symlink ~/.byobu =
~/.local/share/byobu at most - if not only using ~/.local/share/byobu.

I have tried to install the fglrx proprietary driver, when Jockey failed after
downloading it with the following error dialog:
