Today the problem occured again running the 3.17.1 kernel. With my Intel

When I start a unity 7 session in utopic, the system switches to my
previously defined configuration for external monitors, then stops
accepting input. I can move the mouse across both displays, but I
cannot click on anything, and keyboard shortcuts don't seem to bring up

It's possible that this problem is caused by /etc/init/rfkill-
restore.conf. I noticed that ath3k was complaining about a failed
firmware download right after that script is run.
This is my theory on what is happening: ath3k starts the firmware
download.

correctly was Skanlite (not Scanlite). It might be because it is based
on libksane (instead of libsane)?

I used to be able to do that to add secondary interfaces and additional
IP-addresses to the file, however now my changes changes seem to be

I upgraded three machines and ran in the problem on just one.
boor-repair didn't work for me, but after a grub-install with the live-cd i got
to the grub shell and succeeded booting manually.
running grub-install again from within 14.04 fixed it eventually.
I learned a lot about grub, but lost
honestly couldn't tell you. I think it was just an issue of booting up. I
am not sure if it was plugged in or not or charged or not.
