Ok People im still trying to get my MSI tv Anywhere plus to card to work
with KDETV. Its connected through a Cable box. Ive tried the scanning
options but nothing seems to ok..any ideas?

I'm assuming your cable box is connected to the s-video or composite
port on your tv card, in which case you dont need to scan the channels,
just set the channel to s-video or composite. The cable box should
contain the channel list and decode the channels etc.

If it's an analogue tv card and not a freeview one then a very simple
program for tv viewing is kdetv. It's in the repositories.

supported Hauppauge card
running through my analogue tv card
and kdetv.
