I didn't start using Ubuntu until Dapper, so I'm not aware of the
original Ubuntu package that would have stored this data.
However, given how useful it's been to me, I scrounged around for a
while and found the Debian package that contains the manpages (along
with some debug libraries):

If the inconsistency with the Firefox default page is an issue, I'd prefer
to remove the version number entirely. It doesn't need to be there, and

The file /etc/cups/pstoraster.convs is present in the gs-esp deb package
but doing a --reinstall does not result in it being copied to the
filesystem :(
So I did a
$ sudo dpkg --purge --force-all gs-esp

But a Ubuntu user must have the freedom to remove the non-free material
easily. The problem is not it's included, the problem is it's included
in the kernel package so user can't remove it unless by recompiling
linux.
And splitting linux-image in a free-as-in-freedom part and a
Liferea works again. After firefox update, only had to remove
.liferea/lock file.
