removing all configuration files from .xemacs and .emacs. Here is the

I know what I did before getting this error... I was fiddling with the
services-admin program...
After click on, if I remember, the printer servers, it stalled for a moment and
killed on me. I then got this...
When I try to start the services-admin again... I have tried running it at sudo
and
I'm using Edgy, 64 bit version. I upgraded from Dapper where I could never get
fglrx work.
After the update to Edgy, it didn't work better.
First because the module fglrx wasn't loaded.
After loading it, glxinfo was using Mesa.
"LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo" showed that it was looking for fglrx_dri

Yes, this is indeed a confirmed bug that only exhibits itself sometimes
with the 2.0 series KTorrent releases.
This bug does not happen in SVN, but nobody (not even the developers)
knows exactly what change in SVN fixed this bug.
As a result, I am at a loss of ideas as to how to fix this bug... S

I installed Lukas fix deb from #67889 - and it works! I can log off
normally and the session is saved. Also cancel works. (although the
first time after install it crashed but I suppose I needed to restart X
anyway to load the fix or something..)

Thanks for your comments everybody, I didn't expect this many reactions.
I also have a notebook with Intel GMA onboard video which required me to
install 915resolution in order to get the correct resolution.
Essentially it is the same problem, however I filed a different
bugreport for that: bug #6
I have found that the GRUB is the problem. I am using SuSe 10.1 withLILO
and everything works. The system will boot from the hard drive. When the
Edgy lets you choose a bootloader, this problem will exist.

Kubuntu 6.10 Lenovo 3000 N200
Will work only after first suspend. When suspend to ram after the
computer will hang with the word linux in the upper left corner.
Hibernate seems to work fine.

Might actually be bug 14911. Trying one of the hints from that bugreport
XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 firefox, did the trick. I can now go to all
pages that didn't work before.

I installed heartbeat on two fresh machines and on both machines the s
bit wasn't set in the permissions. After chmod +s cl_status works fine.
According to Maestr0 from #linux-ha this does not apply to Debian

Yes...I know...you are not Cedega. The reason I include this crash
report here with you (Ubuntu) is because I ran the same exact Cedega
under Dapper with no issues at all. I had full OpenGL hardware
acceleration and I had 3D acceleration. I never had a crash. Now, under

Perhaps I'm totally off here, but it sounds like the 810 driver included
in Edgy has a major regression that is killing resuming. Edgy ships
with 1.6.5, which is identified on the xorg bug tracking page as having
this problem. The problem has been fixed in the 1.7.1 release and could
possibly be

There is no category "all" in the dialog which follows the "To" button.
I had to give categories to my contacts first before I could use them in
that dialog.

I am using edgy, there is no gtick-dbgsym package, however I can provide
an "ltrace" which might suffice to identify the problem since it's very
short; seems like gtk_init already calls gthread_init?
