was very surprising. I had to adjust the CAS latency on my memory via
the BIOS. Adjusting from a 4 to a 5 made the problem go away.

Same here. From what I can see, python/gtkmozembed tries to read firefox files
from the user home dir, which is wrong.
Ex: it tries to use the components dir in ~/components/ instead of

I have the same problem here and has this for over a month on my laptop.
Tried also to reinstall ubuntu from a nighly build and still the problem is
there. Screen goes black and nothing happens.

Hi! I just got this on gutsy tribe5 after upgrading xorg from 7.2-5ubuntu6 to
7.2-5ubuntu9. It's on a dell vostro 1700 laptop (AMD64, dual core). I also
updated about 200 other packages (just after installing tribe5) so can't be
sure it's xorg-server's fault but xserver crashes with exactly th
mounting a directory from a gentoo nfs server box showed the same bug so
it seems to be an issue with the nfs client mount

For me it was enough to install nspluginwrapper and then flashplugin-
nonfree - both simply from the repositories - and now I've got
FlashPlayer 9 working in Gutsy 64-bit. I didn't copy or extract anything
anywhere. Ofcourse it would be good if one had to install just
flashplugin itself and let the
