When I start VMware Server, it suggests that I visit the VMware website
to download a new version. Since this is packaged software, the upgrade
should instead be offered via the packaging system.

translations coming from KDE for kde-guidance for the following

Realtek say it should work, and it may just be a case of enabling the spdif
out put, which is controlled by the video drivers apparently.
I'll go back to abit (as nvidia won't support oem'ed hardware) and see if I can
get anything other than sorry, we don't support linux out of them.

instance, AdBlock, to hide annoying or irrelevant people.

I did a fresh install of Kubuntu Gutsy, with two printers attached: HP-
DJ-3320 (usb) and Samsung ML-1740 (parallel). I could install both and
print without problem until a few days ago. Now, ML-1740 does not show
up anymore, and in KDEprint adding local printer is grayed

the missing desktop links are caused by the fact that KDE doesnt monitor the
contents of /media/. In gnome gnomevfs uses inotify to watch its contents, it
then just triggers the gnome mechanisms to add new devices.
