So I plugged in the laptop so that it was wired to the 'net. Now When I try
to enable the firmware, there doesn't seem to be any sources that the
Downloading Package files dialog seems to be downloading from.
I hit 'cancel' and it comes up with this error:
W: Failed to fetch

Jérôme: your description of choosing landscape sounds like a 1.6.x or
early 1.7x version of Gnumeric. In those versions printing in landscape
was a gamble that usually did not pay off.
In recent versions 1.7.x (I think 1.7.10 and later), to print landscape:
select page-setup
click on Change
I can confirm, that the blacklist video - workaround works like charm
with Ubuntu Gutsy (7.10) on Samsung x60 here. I can finally see my
battery-stats!

Since then, hibernate and suspend have been completely broken on my
