compare the settings it's using with what actually works? Perhaps the
detected BusID is wron
i can confirm a sync problem with totem:
I don't have any audio glitch, but when watching a movie after some time one
can notice that audio isn't in sync with the picture anymore.
Happens with many different videos and only with totem. Non gstreamer players
like vlc aren't affected.

I can confirm this. I nearly went out of my mind trying to figure out
why my unmounted ide disk kept waking up after hdparm -y (Bug #180986)
until i finally found this. It appears to poll anywhere between 2
seconds and one minute.

I have also confirmed this issue, and disabling DynamicTwinView fixes
it.
I'm running a Geforce3 Ti200 on with nvidia-glx 1:96.43.01+2.6.24.4-11
(hardy). And am running a DFP natively at 1280x1024x24 @ 75Hz on DVI.

I do care about being able to log into my IMAP server, thank you very
