/usr/lib/xorg/modules and both still exhibit the pink window titles:

I have been having this difficulty since 8.04 upgrade as well. I'm also
on an hp tc1100 tablet pc with 1.5 Gb ram.
I have been using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers. I just disabled them
and will post back if there is no success with that.

I change Protocol option from ImPS/2 to ExplorerPS/2 at mouse configuration and

i have the same issue and had it with ff2 as well. i was rather hoping
this would have been fixed for ff3. of the extensions you have installed

I'm still seeing this issue in Hardy with version 1.26 of faac.
It seems to be associated with up sampling. If I try to up sample from 8000 Hz
to 44100 Hz I get the hanging behavior, but if I up sample from 8000 Hz to
22050 Hz I don't get the hanging behavior.

I can confirm this on a Dell XPS M1330. Fiddling with the battery
brightness levels to make them match available levels as shown in
/proc/acpi/video/VID/LCD/brightness causes the brightness to get very
close to being restored to 100%, but still not all the way.

I also had this problem twice. The first time it took up 100 GB in four
files. I killed them and a few days later it made _five_ 25 GB files!
I had to turn it off. Strigi not usable and now it is going to be the
default for KDE 4?

So I had some more time to investigate, and in fact I think this is an
evince bug.
It is possible to open more than one file when using other PDF readers
(acroread, xpdf, epdfview).
Also, other plugins are able to open several documents in different tabs
at once (tested with DJVU files using djvi

filelight currently shows the value of the field st_size returned by the
call to lstat. Just to be sure, what you'd like is the number of blocks
in (KB/MB/GB, ...) really occupied on disk by the file (always less than
apparent size because of reserved blocks and "holes") ?
