That patch is already in the 2.6.27-10 kernel which is in the Proposed
repository. You can enabled it in System -> Administration -> Software
Sources. See if installing that kernel and rebooting fixes it. If not,
I think the card is totally unknown to Linux at the moment and needs to

I have the same problem in 8.10 with Evolution 2.22.3.1 where after a
restart of the Exchange mail server Evolution locked up. I killed the
evolution processes but when I started evolution again it showed an
Inbox that didn't match up with the inbox that I saw through Outlook
WebAccess or Outlook.

My initial experiments with the stock intrepid configuration files (but
with fglrx installed) have shown a failure to bring back the screen on
resume, although ctrl-alt-del does cause a reboot thereafter.

A week ago, this problem started happening often, requiring me to reboot
my system once or twice a day at a minimum, for a few days straight. In
response to this, I tried blacklisting the iwlagn module, under the
assumption that this is a hardware/driver related problem, and that the
most suspect d

but this didn't fix the problem.
However, I've found a workaround for the problem by disabling support
for 11N networks, ie by:
sudo modprobe -r iwlagn && sudo modprob
I hate to say it, but downgrading to the xorg package that ships with
Ubuntu 8.04 isn't a complete solution - I experienced a re-occurrence of
the bug today.
That being said, this was after my session had been active for several
days, so it's far better than what's going on in 8.10.

Generally it's considered polite to check with the last person who

Yes this is the Digikam 0.10.0-beta6 from SVN.
The kipi-plugins and kdegraphics libs are also from SVN and include libkipi,
libkdcraw, etc.
Exiv2 is also from SVN.
I should note that when it does start (after using killall) it works
great.

I have the same problem, and really affected by it. I also used to work
with Ctrl+Tab to switch between tabs, but that doesn't work anymore

Seems no hope of fixing this issue in short term.
My experience, 169.04 from Nvidia is the best one for Hardy.
Hardy's own driver or 177 will get titlebar or compiz problem. I just tried the
180.06, which cannot support my dual monitors with separated screens (different
resolutions).
