I just installed a fresh alpha 3. I have an HP 5189 wireless keyboard
mouse combo. I installed with this keyboard and it works in console but
not in kdm login window nor with xstart, nor when plugging in another
usb keyboard. he wireless keyboard worked in alpha 2 and alpha 1. I did

It was the /etc/init.d/pulseaudio, which terminated because of a missing
feature --dissalow-exit.
But I also found out that the daemon does not solve the problem. By
using the console and alsamixer -c1, I can configure my sound, so it
seems it it a mixer_applet2 bug.

I have another question: why exactly is flashplugin-nonfree using

I found that my gnome-settings-daemon crashed on startup when I had my
old ~/.config/monitor.xml file in place. When I renamed
~/.config/monitor.xml to ~/.config/monitor.xml-old and restarted the
daemon it started without a problem. My monitor.xml file had two

I've seen the description updated with video card information and I want
to point out that this bug is very likely independent on the graphics

There is absolutely no any new entries appear in /var/log/Xorg.0.log
after trying to play video into xvideo output (attempted to play it with
mplayer and VLC using xvideo output in both players). However video

I disagree that this is a bug. What if you have overlapping files in the
archive? I think File Roller is correct to extract different archives in
to separate subfolders. If you think that this should be different, then
please open a bug on the Gnome Bugzilla: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/

And decided to reinstall whole system.
After installation, /etc/fstab was missing line for cd/dvd drive, so had to
manually add
/dev/scd0 /media/cdr
