I have RSI,so I use mousekeys which allows me to click the mouse by
pressing 5 in the numberpad on the keyboard.
Mousekeys gets switched off if I unplug the keyboard (something I don't
do very often) and more importantly when I switch over to another
computer using a KVM
gsmart mini 2 isn't working on intrepid with all updates.
I had to manually unmount it, and reload gspca in order to make it work.

I did a bit more checking, and I have another laptop in which everything
works just fine. The difference is that the one that works was
installed from a bare drive and the other one was upgraded from 8.04
which was upgraded from the release before that, etc.

At this point, both the rf_kill *and* the power/state interfaces are
obsolete, and AFAIK they're unused in the current kernels in Ubuntu 8.10
and beyond. I'm not sure if this bug is even still an issue, but I
don't think there's any point in fixing it for Ubuntu 9.04.

I mean to say that obviously the interest here isn't in fixing the bug,
it is in eliminating the complaint.
Launchpad was supposed to be a central proxy into every bug open source
bug tracking system to eliminate burden on users. All Ubuntu users, can
file a bug in launchpad, and just be done

the phone however pairing always fails and no connection can be

One thing I only just figured out: if you are using the umountcifs script
linked above, you also need to set the network as a system setting, otherwise
it's pulled down when you exit KDE/Gnome and still leaves the umount hanging
during shutdown/reboot.
