The PPA package fixed the mouse position problem, however, there is still a
problem in that it only accepts taps and nothing else. For example, cell
writer is only accessible through the built in keyboard because writing
doesn't work. web browsing is difficult because slider bars can't be slid.

... I tried to compress a folder in Dolphin.
Right click - context menue "compress to archieve"
I choose the filename.
Extension tar.bz2
The sysem notifier showed the begin of the compression. After ~3 seconds
the crash manager appeared.

I don't know what just happened but after installing pulseaudio (no
commands or reboot) my sound worked and all is fine. I've attached a
bunch of screenshots of my xfce4-mixer configuration and my tray. I
think after the whole time the volume was just at 0% even though in the
mixer I set it to 80%.

I'm testing Jaunty on a Gateway GT5676, the multimedia card reader
detects whenever I insert the card because a green light turns on but
Ubuntu won't detect it.

I have installed xserver-xorg-core-dbg libdrm2-dbg and rebooted.
Started a second session.

Binary package hint: packagekit-gnome
When running gpk-application in Jaunty, PackageKit fails to display the
application category listings. Worked fine for me in 3.6 but 3.13 seems
to have a problem in this regard. All else works as it should just this
one issue involving ca

* /usr/share/hal/fdi/preprobe/20thirdparty/lirc.fdi*
Add the following:

You will need to *restart* your pc for this to work.

Did gnome-vfs not use what is now in gvfs ftp backend? Because the gvfs
backend is clearly violating rfc 959. I'm marking this as triaged and
will attach the upstream bug report. I'm sort of surprised that this
ever worked considering that the ftp backend appears to be badly broken
spec-wise.
Can you be more descriptive on how to do this (new to Ubuntu)

i have 2 WAV files and loaded them in audacity, Merge them, save project
and select all. Then export selection to WAV, OGG or MP3 file.

This result is at least consistent with the retrace. For some reason it
can't get the window_scan_wizard from the glade file. Uninstall and
reinstall me-tv and see if that fixes it. Have you installed another
version of Me TV on your current system?
