I tried openSUSE 11.1 and pm-suspend works. pm-suspend in SUSE first

Don't get me wrong. I love linux and I love Ubuntu and Canonical.

I've profiled the system while executing the previously described

Hi,
I've been having freezing problems also, even after switching from ath5
to madwifi. Not only that, but sometimes Amarok just starts skipping a
little bit, but I'm not sure if this is from the wireless driver. I
don't have the bad performance though (unless I'm just used to shitty
internet).

Intrepid metacity's keyboard shortcuts are not working properly

jaunty feels like powersteering and it's fast to. Liberation fonts rendering is
better than on ms-w and needs no extra fine tuning. Startup

Sound works fine from the speakers, but when headphones are plugged in,
sound gradually diminishes until it is silent. Unplugging the headphones
leaves it silent on the speakers. Reboot resets the position and sound
is fine
Simply edit src/plugins/shoutcast/shoutcast.c
old:
#define SHOUTCAST_ROOT http://www.shoutcast.com/;
new:
#define SHOUTCAST_ROOT http://classic.shoutcast.com/;
and rebuild it.
