Right. So now I had another crash :(
Happened after my notebook did not properly wake up after suspend
because of lack of power.
I then had to do a normal boot and glipper crashed after log in to
GNOME.
So it's about one crash for maybe 4 times booting.

I am experiencing the same issue in Jaunty. I burnt a CD for a friend
who uses Windows and the file names were truncated to ~4-5 chars when
viewing in Windows - I have not been able to drop it back in a *nix box

the report when it doesn't appear? do you get any errors ?

If it is the combination phonon+xine that is causing this issue, maybe
changing to gstreamer would help, otherwise it might be a general phonon
issue, or what ktts sends to phonon (granted I don't know anything about
the inner workings of ktts though :)).

Hi Till,
I have the printer ready to be installed on a different computer as I
noticed it is still not printing without any interaction from me (e.g.
it's still not plug and play).
